La medicina general constituye el primer nivel de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y es imprescindible para la prevenci\u00f3n, detecci\u00f3n, tratamiento y seguimiento de las enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas estabilizadas, responsabiliz\u00e1ndose del paciente en su conjunto.<\/p>

El objetivo principal de la medicina general es que cada paciente tenga un buen estado de salud a nivel global. Igualmente, trata enfermedades o infecciones que requieren de procedimientos sencillos que, por lo general, pueden realizarse de manera ambulatoria. No obstante, tiene como prioridad la prevenci\u00f3n de diversas patolog\u00edas, mediante controles y revisiones peri\u00f3dicas, especialmente en aquellos casos de pacientes con enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
